Why I Love Computer Science
A common question I get is, “why computer science?” It is an interesting question, and something I spend a great deal of time thinking about. There are a number of reasons, and it can get difficult to pick just one. What it boils down to, and the reason I am so passionate about computer science, is the creative outlet it provides. Have an idea for an app/website/game? You can code it! The only limitation is yourself and your ideas. I previously mentioned I got into coding through making games. At the time, using code to apply my ideas felt groundbreaking. It still feels groundbreaking today. Computer science allows you to build applications and solve problems in a unique perspective. It is an ever-expanding field that is changing the world. It is hard not to be fascinated by it. That is why I love it!
