I became interested in programming through making games. When I was 13 years old, I would write down game ideas and plans for how to execute them only to move onto the next idea a week later. As my talents improved, I eventually started a project my junior year of high school not realizing I would keep working on it for over a year. Systems Beyond is a solar system management game I made using Unity and C#. This project taught me not only valuable coding skills but also self-teaching skills. Randomly generated planets, alien AI, and a shop with purchasable upgrades were accomplishments I remember fondly while working on this game. I still update the game from time to time if I find something necessary to add to the game, and I look forward to future projects I can be just as proud of!
